The following itinerary comprises a 5D/4N tour exclusively at the Pantanal Jaguar Camp, where each day will be spent aboard a comfortable and well-equipped boat with an expert naturalist guide or biologist guide, cruising the beautiful rivers of the Porto Jofre region in search of jaguars and other wildlife species.  JAGUAR OPERATION LODGE - PANTANAL JAGUAR CAMP
 
 
Day 1 - CUIABÁ /JAGUAR CAMP - LODGE

Pick up at Cuiabá in the early morning, then transfer to the Pantanal. The tour begins as we travel on the Transpantaneira Road, the gateway to the Pantanal's stunning fauna and flora, embarking on a beautiful safari with abundant wildlife along the way. Upon arrival at the lodge, enjoy lunch and check-in. In the early afternoon, embark on an exclusive jaguar boat trip with our expert boatman and guide, focusing on wildlife observation, particularly jaguars and river otters. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (L,D).
 
 

DAY 2 - JAGUAR CAMP / LODGE

 Start the day with an early breakfast followed by a boat ride in the prime area for jaguar spotting, searching for signs of recent jaguar activity along the river banks. After lunch, return to the boat for further exploration, encountering diverse wildlife such as capybaras, black howler monkeys, iguanas, caimans, and various bird species. Return to accommodations after sunset, capturing the Pantanal's renowned dramatic sunsets—a photographer’s delight! Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (B,L,D).
 
 

DAY 3 - JAGUAR CAMP

After breakfast, embark on a boat ride further up the Cuiabá River, exploring a remote region known for exceptional wildlife and nature observation. Break for lunch, followed by another river safari focusing on jaguars, otters, and other fascinating wildlife. Return to the lodge at sunset, providing an opportunity to observe birds perched on the trees. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (B,L,D).
 
 

DAY 4 - JAGUAR CAMP


After breakfast, embark on a boat ride to observe the wildlife species you wish to see for an extended period or capture more captivating photos. Enjoy lunch, and in the afternoon, your guide and boat driver will actively search for various aspects of nature to enhance your Pantanal experience. Return to accommodations after sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Jaguar Camp. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
 

DAY 5 - JAGUAR CAMP  / CUIABÁ

 Begin the day with an early breakfast and embark on the last river safari in a location with the highest density of jaguars and jaguar sightings in the entire Pantanal. After lunch, transfer back to Cuiabá. Drop-off at the airport or city hotel, depending on the client’s preference. End of our services. (B, L).

Note: keep in mind that the above itinerary is a suggestion and that the activities described may be altered due to weather conditions, group's interests or circumstances beyond our control. Our groups have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 guests, so let us know if you wish to have a private or custom-made tour. Please contact us in order to book your spot. 


Attention: please schedule an early morning flight to Cuiabá or consider overnighting at a city hotel in order for us to set up an early departure to the Pantanal. As it takes about 5 hours to reach the Jaguar Camp lodge from Cuiabá, departures are usually set between 6am and 7am. The return to Cuiabá on the last day is at around 6pm so plan your return flight accordingly.

What to bring: light weight pants, jeans, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, shorts, extra socks and underwear, sandals, walking shoes or tennis shoes, windbreaker/light rainjacket, sun hat, flashlight, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, camera, film, extra batteries. Sweatshirts or sweaters are recommend from June to October.

 
Important: Bring your own reusable water bottle, the Jaguar Camp is committed to sustainability make it easier for you to avoid plastic by providing   free potable water for your own bottle.
