Packages | Deep into the Pantanal (LOW SEASON) - YEAR AROUND | 4D/3N WILD SAFARI TOUR



Available from DECEMBER to MAY. The following itinerary encompasses 3 nights in the Northern Pantanal in a fantastic area to see and experience Wildlife Encounters, adding up to a 4D/3N Tour spent at two Wildlife Lodges (first lodge: Jaguar Camp - 2N; second lodge: choose from Aymara Lodge/Pouso Alegre/Piuval - 1N). Contact us today to obtain a quote for this tour. 


Pick up at city hotel in Cuiabá in the early morning then, transfer to the Pantanal, traveling on Transpantaneira Road, the gateway to the Pantanal marvelous fauna and flora, arriving at Porto Jofre Region - where the lodge is located - at lunch time. Check-in and then lunch followed by a boat ride until sundown expecting to see many animals and a variety of birdlife. The Pantanal is famed for its dramatic sunsets – a photographer’s delight! Dinner will be followed by a night safari with our exclusive open safari vehicle and then overnight at the lodge Jaguar Camp. (LD)


After breakfast, enjoy a nice trail on the grounds of the lodge, where a variety of birdlife may be seen at close range. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, a nice safari trip throughout Transpantaneira Road, looking for more wildlife species until sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (BLD)


Early morning start with a safari trip or a nice nature walk before breakfast. Animals are particularly active this time of the day. After breakfast, a last boat trip in the Porto Jofre Region. After lunch, transfer to transfer to our next location, another very nice wildlife lodge. Check-in then, a trekking through the surroundings. Keep your eyes peeled for endangered marsh deer, South American coati, giant anteater, toco toucans, tapirs, hyacinth macaws and an array of other animals and birds. Dinner will be followed by a night safari and overnight at the lodge. (BLD) 


Early morning safari for wildlife viewing. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast a nice walk to continue exploring the forest and grasslands to spot animals and birds, including rheas, marsh deer, storks, coatis, capybaras, howler monkeys, and other animals and birds. After lunch, transfer to Cuiabá. Drop off at the airport or city hotel depending on client’s preference. End of our services. (BL)

Note: This is not a jaguar tour. Keep in mind that the above itinerary is a suggestion and that the activities described and the lodge choice may be altered due to weather conditions, group's interests or circumstances beyond our control. Attention: please schedule an early morning flight to Cuiabá or consider overnighting at a city hotel in order for us to set up an early departure to the Pantanal. As it takes about 5 hours to reach the Jaguar Camp from Cuiabá, departures are usually set between 6:30am and 7am. Arrival in Cuiabá on the last day is at around 6pm so plan your return flight accordingly.

What to bring: light weight pants, jeans, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, shorts, extra socks and underwear, sandals, walking shoes or tennis shoes, windbreaker/light rainjacket, sun hat, flashlight, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, camera, film, extra batteries. 

Important: Bring your own reusable water bottle, the Jaguar Camp is committed to sustainability make it easier for you to avoid plastic by providing   free potable water for your own bottle.
